Estethica - London Fashion Week

Estethica at London Fashion Week is in it’s sixth season. It was launched by the London Fashion Council to promote Eco sustainable fashion . It has  become a huge source of inspiration for eco labels and a great flagship for Londons ethical fashion industry. Estethica show cases a range of eco labels including organic, free trade and recycled ranges. The iniative has experienced huge growth and for Spring/Summer 2009 alone fifteen new labels joined. Estethica is an opportunity for up and coming ethical designers to network, gain inspiration and get support. Some of the labels showing at Estethica London Fashion Week include:

Ciel - Romantic but edgy womanswear in organic cotton, silks, eco fabrics and baby alpaca

Veja - Eco and fairtrade trainers made from organic cotton and wild latex from the Amazon

Butcher Couture Eye Wear - leather eye wear made from organic vegetable tan leather (i.e. leather tanned with plant extract and free of chrome, pentachlorophenol, benzidinici and azo-colorants) and hand finished with Oeko-Tex certified threads.

Numanu - Clothes made of natural and organic fabrics  with a contemporary urban aesthetic for women
