Recyled Clothes at Topshop
Recycling really is becoming a big trend with high street chain Topshop now getting in on the act. The Eco brand My Only One is set to launch at Topshop’s flagship store in London’s Oxford street with a collection of new clothes made from old clothes.
A team of creative designers will set to work making gorgeous new creations from old pieces or clothing or vintage items that are no longer of any use. The initiative follows in the footsteps of Oxfam’s DIY collections and a number of other cutting edge fashion labels such as Junky Styling who recycle textiles in innovative ways. The first collection will be called Sport Noveau and will be a stylish take on classic sports wear including 70s sports shirts into tennis skirts and dresses into jumpsuits.
