November Charity - National Eczema Society

In my last post, I wrote about the way in which eczema can affect babies and children and the huge impact it can have on their life. I also outlined some things that can help to reduce or treat Eczema.

This month Bamboo baby have decided to give 1% of their turnover to the UK National Eczema Society, a charity that offers support, help and information to anyone that is affected by Eczema. Having the right level of knowledge and information about eczema is key to treating and managing the condition. The National Eczema Society helps to provide this through its website, helpline magazine and support groups. It  provides information for teachers and healthcare professionals to promote and increase understanding of the condition and also supports and funds research into Eczema.

In order to carry out this very important work, the National Eczema Society needs to raise £800, 000 each year. Its work to make life easier for the 1 in 5 children and 1 in 12 adults who suffer from eczema is funded completely by subscriptions and donations.
